Postcards to Myself - Paris, France, 1991
My first trip to London and Paris! First stop, London. We went to see Buckingham Palace and the changing of the guards. We also saw the mummies at the British Museum. Of course had to go to Carnaby St. to buy vinyl and band shirts. We had lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe and I got a special 20th anniversary t-shirt. Then took the ferry back to Calais from Dover where we could see the famous white cliffs. In Paris we went up the Eiffel Tower and walked up the butte to Montmartre. Everything is super expensive over here! We also went to Notre Dame and the Louvre where we saw the Mona Lisa. Way too many people hovering over the painting!
