Postcards to Myself - Tokyo, Japan, 1985
It’s so hot here in Tokyo and everything is very expensive! But Tokyo is a very exciting city. One day we went up Tokyo Tower where we got to see the whole city. There are 11 million people living in this city. It is 80km from one end to the other! We also went on a boat ride and saw the King’s Palace. Then we went to a place that had a huge Buddha statue! On our last day, we took a tour to Hakone, a mountain area with a beautiful lake from where we could see Japan’s most famous mountain, the Fuji-Ama. Then we went back to Tokyo on a high speed train.
